Café Bouloud is the restaurant of the old Brazilian Court Hotel, just steps away from the area’s white sandy beaches. Opened in 2003, it has been serving up some of the most praiseworthy food in all of Florida and has won some of the country’s most coveted dining awards. Start with cocktails in the beautiful lounge and then move to the terrace for what could possibly be one of the most exquisite meals you’ve ever had. Try the Torchon of Foie Gras with sarsaparilla, pickled watermelon, spiced peanuts and toasted brioche or the Duo of Veal for $48 with roasted tenderloin and braised shank, hen of the woods with balsamic grilled radicchio, rosemary and citrus polenta
The River House
The River House was opened in 1984 and has been serving fantastic upscale fare to the Palm Beach community ever since. It’s one of the most popular restaurants in the area and with good reason. They specialize in fresh fish and steaks and know their way around the kitchen when it comes to cooking up unbelievably delicious culinary delights. Dine in the Upstairs dining room with beautiful views of the waterfront and even boat dockage so you can sail in on your yacht right up to the outside bar. Try the Market Price Lobster and Sirloin or the Chilean Sea Bass and pair it with a bottle of one of their exquisite wines from a list that has been recognized by Wine Spectator for the past 10 years.
Max’s Harvest is a “farm-to-fork” restaurant that creates meals with farm-raised animal meat, fresh seafood and produce, dairy and grains from local farms and granaries. Their belief is that food tastes better when grown and prepared with care and you will be hard pressed to disagree after a meal at this fine establishment. Give the Pan-Seared Diver Scallops a try – they come with organic quinoa, house cured bacon and roasted vegetables, corn jus and local radish salad. The 13 oz NY Strip for $39 is served with Yukon Gold Potato Gratin with charred leeks & Mahon Cheese and is one of the best items on the menu. Enjoy it all in their quaint and charming dining room setting or out on the patio on a breezy night.
